Begin new year with intention

Find clarity, self-love, and connection

— the answers are already within you.

Partnership with Nike

Are you craving clarity or just space to breathe?

In yoga, we practice Svādhyāya (self study) to reconnect with who we truly are. We learn to slow down, observe with kindness (Ahimsa), and come back to ourselves.

This retreat is your space to do just that. Through daily yoga, meditation, and nourishing connection, you’ll remember what’s already inside: peace, presence, and self-love. Start the year grounded, not by changing yourself, but by coming home to you.

Imagine beginning your year surrounded by jungle, ocean, and like minded people, reconnecting with your body, spirit, and joy.

The Living in Harmony Yoga Retreat is your invitation to
slow down, realign, and root into who you truly are through powerful daily movement, stillness, and soulful connection.

Meet your host

Maria Wada

Yoga & Meditation Teacher | Movement Guide

Hi! I’m Maria Wada! A yoga and meditation teacher from Japan, movement lover, and former professional dancer based in Los Angeles. I spent over a decade performing with artists like Madonna, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift, before yoga became my path back home to myself.

Since completing my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018, I’ve continued to deepen my studies with a 300 hour advanced Vinyasa training in Goa, India, as well as additional training in Rocket and Yin yoga. I've completed 200 hour active consciousness meditation teacher training in Bali.

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything I teach. In my classes, we move with intention, honor our own experience, and make space for everyone to feel welcome.

I gently weave in yogic philosophy to offer simple tools for easing suffering and reconnecting with inner wisdom, both on and off the mat!

The experience was far beyond what I could have ever imagined! It’s rare to find a teacher you can completely trust and feel safe enough with to truly let go, but Maria has that rare quality. She curated a schedule that was thoughtfully designed, with each day building on the last. The retreat wasn’t just about yoga – it was a holistic experience that gave me the opportunity to connect with myself, relax, and enjoy nature while also forging meaningful connections with fellow retreat-goers. The location itself was breathtakingly beautiful, but what truly made the experience so special was Maria’s guidance and the safe, nurturing space she created for all of us.

We would love for you to participate in everything and make the most out of the retreat but of course, it is your time and your choice! Enjoy your time for you! If you are looking to receive continuing education hours as a yoga teacher, we will recommend participaring in every activities. if you miss some, we will simply credit you for the hours you participated.

Why retreats are so expensive?

Retreat investments go to semi-private yoga sessions and transformative workshops that we design with passion, planned activities and all your meals. Think about this, If you would go on a vacation, you will be planning all your accommodation yourself, paying for each meal, drinks, activities, etc for the same amount of money. And you may still spend lots of time on the phone and not be able to have the mental break that you wanted. On the retreat, we take care of it all and you get to be in the environment where encouraging you to practice mindfulness. So why not go on a retreat to share a transformative experience with like minded people ;)
